Taras BAGINETS is Ukrainian organist, a soloist with the Sverdlovsk State Academic Philharmonic Society (Yekaterinburg, Russia), as both organist and harpsichordist. He is the founder and artistic director of the International Bach-Fest, biggest festival of Bach music in Russia, which is held annually in Yekaterinburg in March.

He graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Arts in piano and organ (with prof. S. Yushkevich), and the St. Petersburg State University with the award of the degree of Master of Arts and the Humanities (with prof. A.Panov, prof.D.Zaretsky) He undertook further studies with leading European professors: Heinrich Walther (Germany), Michael Radulescu (Austria), Hans Fagius (Sweden), Szigmund Szatmary (Germany), Ludger Lohmann (Germany) and was a winner/prize-winner in 10 international competitions in Germany, Russia and Lithuania.

For 20 years Taras Baginets has performed in concert halls of Russia, in prestigious halls of Europe; including of important historical organs of the XVII-XIXth centuries: Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, St.Eustache and Oratoire du Louvre churches in Paris, St. Thomas church in Leipzig, St. Jacobs and St.Michaelis churches in Hamburg, in Kölner Dom, Kaiserdom Frankfurt, Riga Dom, Niguliste church in Tallinn, St. Benigne church in Dijon, Lausanne Cathedral, Lübecker Dom, Merseburger Dom, Basler Münster, Gdansk Cathedral in Oliwa, Kaliningrad Cathedral, Moscow Catholic Cathedral and many others. Regularly invited to participate in large international organ festivals in Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Spain, Netherlands and has appeared in numerous concerts in Ukraine, Denmark, Czekhia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Moldova, Malta and Austria.

In 2022 Taras Baginets played a number of concerts in Europe in favor of refugees from Ukraine (Germany, the Netherlands, Spain).

He has recorded five CD's:
